Reason #85

Chrissy Field.

I've been hanging out around Chrissy Field for the past couple of weekends since the weather has been awesome!

Chrissy Field has it all - people out and about and scenic views of the Golden Gate bridge. Everyone seems to be exercising - biking and running. Tons of tourists are walking around. I would too, if I were visiting San Francisco. And the all the dogs! So many dogs, every kind you can imagine. We always want to get a dog when we see all the happy dogs.

It's weird - I lose track of time and I can just relax when hanging out at Chrissy Field. Such a beautiful part of the city, you will not be disappointed!

   

 

 

 

Reason #86

I'm officially hooked.

Planet Granite. Is awesome. No joke.

Planet Granite is the newest climbing facility located in Chrissy Field. For the past couple of weeks, I have been spending time taking a belay class and passing my belay test!

A friend had mentioned to me that she had gone to Planet Granite, and instantly I wanted to check it out. Honestly, to say you've been indoor rock climbing is pretty cool. So anyway, I've been hooked ever since my first class (which was only two weeks ago...) and now I can't wait to go back!

When I first started climbing, I was afraid that I wouldn't have the upper body strength. I don't really lift weights, and I can barely do a girly push up. Yes, I know I'm super weak. I should be really using my upper and lower body to conquer the wall. Also I keep telling myself I'm just a beginner, and the more I go climbing, the better I'll get. 

Climbing is so much fun, and is a great workout. Hopefully I can reach my goal of being trim and skinny like all the other people there (ha!). If anyone is ever down to try climbing, let me know!

 

Reason #87

Little Star.

Need I say anymore?

I live a 16 minute walk and 4 minute drive from Little Star. How awesome is that? So effin awesome.

I love this city. And I love that we have Little Star. The cornmeal crust has stolen my heart. And the melted cheese underneath that fresh tomato sauce and sausage?

Fleet Week is here!

I'm sitting here at work, and I can hear the Blue Angels flying over us. Fleet weekend is always fun. Gorgeous weather, and just enjoying the city. Everyone flocks to the water to watch.
